This concertina book opens up to a length of more than one and a half metres to reveal on one side a cutaway of the female human body, showing the internal organs, such as the heart, intestines, brain and liver, as well as inset illustrations, showing details such as the inside of the eye, the cell, the ear, a microscopic view of blood, and how the heart works. On the other side is a cutaway of the male human body featuring the skeleton and muscles, with inset illustrations showing details such as the inside of a bone, micro-muscles, and how a broken bone heals. It can be read as a book, or as a chart.
