Jeff Foster is the founder of Vicious Fishes Software in Fullerton, California. His company has created graphic and audio content for Multimedia and Web developers. They are also the creators of "Digital Artware for Powerpoint"-providing a much needed new look and feel to presentations, multimedia and Web design. He has been in the forefront of illustrative art and computer graphic design, creating images for clients such as: Sanyo, McDonnell Douglas, FOX television, Universal Studios and Disney. Foster's production studio has been a beta site for such companies as: Apple Computer, Adobe, Ultimate, PIXAR & MetaCreations-where he hosted a Multimedia & Web animation chat in their AOL forum. Foster has lectured and demonstrated his talent and ideas throughout Southern California, and has co-developed a multimedia program for the Dept. of Labor through the North Orange County Community College District. He has taught, lectured and developed computer graphics and multimedia programs for NOCCD Continuing Education at the Fullerton College campus, UC Irvine, and Cal Sate Fullerton Continuing Education. Before coming to EMC, Jeff had been serving as the Director of Research & Development at Narratus, Inc., a technology arts firm, specializing in a new method of mixed media corporate marketing, called "Digital Storytelling" - on CD-ROM and Web delivery. He also developed a Summer High School-level Web & Imaging intern program for Narratus, in a classroom setting of about 12 interns, 30 hours a week. He has contributed to several magazine articles and books, including: Animation Magazine, Publish Magazine and Photoshop Filter Finesse (Bill Niffenegger--Random House); and co-authored: Special Edition: Using Photoshop (QUE--Macmillan). He completely authored: Photoshop Web Magic 2 (Hayden Books, Pub).
