This two-volume set contains the proceedings of the "Conference on Expert System Applications for the Electric Power Industry", conducted at Orlando, Florida, in June 1989. More than 300 experts from 15 countries discussed expert systems applications, both implemented and in advanced stages of development. The purpose of the meeting was to stimulate efforts to use expert system technology by increasing awareness of the number and variety of system applications available to the electric power industry.
