Special Tests

This new edition has been reorganized to take into account changes in nursing training and practice. The book is now organized around the "activities of daily living" nursing model in order to give students and nurses a better understanding of the relationship between the tests and care they are providing. In addition, there are changes which reflect recent developments in many fields including lung function tests, CT scans, magnetic resonance, toxicology, tests for brain death and a greater appreciation of the role of histopathology in clinical management.
