What is education? It can be defined as an awakening to responsibility toward ourselves in the world with others and it happens by attempting to understand human beings as they develop in life and find their place in the life-world. However, far from simple distribution of knowledge, even at a high level, education is more like writing and reading individual stories of nations and peoples, where every narration carries with itself the unrepeatable traces of life. Welcoming the ideas in the authentic experience of the hermeneutics of sympathy and suspicion, the book gives witness to this epiphany. In bringing to light the different aspects of educational (dis)closures, the authors acknowledge the dialectic of revealing and concealing as well as delight in the flow of the thinking process. This book shall open up horizons of thinking together on education by (dis)closing something essential about humans as unfinished projects.
