"It's A Doc's Life" gives an unusual insight into the training which a future doctor undergoes at medical school - as seen through the eyes of one of Britains's best-known "media doctors". Dr David Delvin is Consultant Editor of "General Practitioner" and Medical Consultant to the Family Planning Association. He has appeared in hundreds of radio and television programmes, and has been Medical Adviser to such TV programmes as "Pebble Mill at One", "Medical Express", "Inside Medicine", "The Afternoon Programme", "Aspel and Company" and "About Anglia". He writes regular columns for national magazines and for various journals. His books, which include "The Book Of Love", "How To Improve Your Sex Life" and "The Delvin Report On Safer Sex", have been translated into eight languages and one has won the Best Book Award of The American Medical Writers' Association. He recently won the "Consumer Columnist of the Year" award, and was awarded the "Medaille de la Ville de Paris" by Jacques Chirac.
