Chapters by contributing experts discuss advances and research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control of avian diseases and other conditions. The tenth edition features 96 contributing experts, including 30 new authors and co-authors. There is a new subchapter, "Avian Enteroviruslike Viruses" and a new chapter, "Emerging Diseases and Disease of Complex or Unknown Aetiology". The information has been expanded to complete chapters that individually address staphylococcosis, chicken infectious anaemia, and "riemerella anatipestifer" infection (previously "pasteurella anatipestifer"). The chapters are all completely or substantially revised, including those on colibacillosis, "salmonella" infections and viral infections.
