Now in its second edition, this workbook is designed to help the student to develop the ability to accurately and easily calculate drug doses. Beginning with an arthimetic review, the student is guided through apothecary, household and metric calculations. The text focuses on the ratio and proportion method. A separate chapter discusses the "desired" over "have" (D/H x Q) formula. The student then progresses through calculations of oral and parenteral drugs, IV fluid rates and paediatric drug dosages - clear, simple explanations and numerous practice problems are provided.
