The American Buckminster Fuller was internationally famous as an architect, engineer, mathematician, author and inventor. He is best known for creating the Geodesic Dome (Montreal Expo, 1967), and inventions such as the Fog Gun (a shower that enabled a person to take a soapless, hygienic shower with only a teacup of water). In celebration of Fuller's centenary, and the renewed interest in his work, this book brings together his major ideas and inventions into language and photographs that will inspire a new audience to think about alternative ways of living. The author, who worked with Fuller for 33 years, is uniquely qualified to discuss his inventions and ideas.
