This is an insider's view of the hidden riches of Spanish cuisine, as seen through the authentic methods, ingredients and even utensils of the Spanish woman in her own kitchen. It is a portrait, via the landscape, produce, and distinctive domestic interiors of the 12 major regions of Spain through the seasons. Each region is given its own introduction, followed by a number of subjects carefully chosen to give the characteristic flavour of that particular part of Spain at that particualr time of year.
