Inside Multi-Media Case Based Instruction
Description
Alles über E-Books | Antworten auf Fragen rund um E-Books, Kopierschutz und Dateiformate finden Sie in unserem Info- & Hilfebereich.
This volume elaborates the Case-Based Teaching Architecture. A central tenet of this architecture is the importance of acquiring cases, and being able to retrieve and use those cases to solve new problems. The theses address the problems of building case bases, indexing large amounts of data contained within those case bases, and retrieving information on a need-to-know basis. They also reflect the work of researchers at the Institute to design tools that enable software programs to be built more effectively and efficiently.
Reviews / Votes
"The best feature of this book is that it weaves theoretical ideas with practical applications. The systems go beyond training for procedural skills into the training of 'fuzzier' skills, such as social skills and language training in realistic contexts. Although some of the ideas may not be new, such as learning by doing, the instantiation of these ideas into case-based multimedia instructional systems demonstrates how to effectively combine and apply relevant teaching ideas."-Applied Cognitive Psychology
"The detailed documentation of these experiments in developing complex, simulation-based learning environments should help others understand, build upon and manipulate the researchers' knowledge."

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
Please note: We strongly recommend that you authorise using your personal Adobe ID after installation of any reading software.
