Basics of Hill Engineering

This book is basically written on the basis of practical experiences and the problems that we have faced in connecting an isolated village on the top of a hilly feature having an approximate distance of five kilometres from the main connectivity of the market. I would like to thank Mr. Aditya Gaur, who is the actual mastermind behind this track and I would also like to thank my co-author Mr. Rafik Ahmed, a highly experienced man when it comes to connecting rural areas to the mainland, in this project who helped me in anticipating various problems beforehand only and together we found the solutions for various problems that we encountered. This work is totally based on our practical field experiences.
