Person
Janet Lord has worked as a social sciences teacher and a lecturer in HE for many years, specialising in education studies, teacher education and social sciences. She has a professional doctorate in education from the University of Manchester. Janet has experience in school governance and educational consultancy. Her research and writing concerns pedagogy, student experience, assessment, the nature of critical spaces in HE, and in initial teacher education. Janet is currently a senior lecturer in Education Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University.
