Diet Analysis Plus: Version 2.1 for DOS

This software program serves as a tool for students to assess their own diets. Students create a personal profile based on height, weight, age, sex, and activity level, and input the type and serving size of foods they consume each day for up to seven days. The program calculates Recommended Daily Allowances (RDAs), goal percentages, and actual percentages of the essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals consumed based on the individual's personal profile. A daily exercise feature allows students to adjust the goal percentages of calories and nutrients according to individual activity level. Students may use the information provided in the program to determine the best ways to adjust their diets to better meet nutritional needs and personal health goals.
