Description
Alles über E-Books | Antworten auf Fragen rund um E-Books, Kopierschutz und Dateiformate finden Sie in unserem Info- & Hilfebereich.
This book provides students with an understanding of the ways in which major social, political and environmental developments affect employment, work and people management in organisations. These developments include globalisation, technology, the economy, labour markets, society, politics, public policy and employment regulation. This book also includes expert coverage of how change, innovation and creativity can promote improvements in organisational productivity. This second edition now includes new material on recent changes to the political landscape, economic and legal updates, as well as new material on artificial intelligence.
Most importantly, this core textbook covers the key topics that postgraduate students will need in their future careers as people professionals. This includes flexibility, agility, resilience, ethics, values and sustainability. There is also coverage of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), wellbeing, remote working and working internationally. Real-world examples demonstrate how the theory applies in practice and pause and review boxes help students think critically about the content. Online supporting resources include PowerPoint slides for every chapter.
