Ahmed Hassanien is course leader of hospitality management, Napier Business School, Edinburgh Napier University. He has a PhD in hospitality management from Strathclyde University and an MA in teaching and learning in higher education from the University of Wolverhampton.

He has taught hospitality management at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels for a number of years.
