As my gift to others on my 75th birthday, I am self-publishing this very short story. This true story begins with a baby boy's encounter of being terrified by 2 older boys who are wearing masks on Halloween night in either 1946 or 1947. The story continues as the narrator tells it from the way he perceives the baby is maturing and adjusting to masks. You may wonder if this child's trauma will continue or how the mask evolves into his life. I hope you will enjoy reading my story about "The Boy and the Mask."
