Claude Sobry is Professor Emeritus at the University of Lille, France. An economist by training, he first became interested in the economy of sport before moving towards sustainable local development thanks to sport tourism. The Creator and Director of the International Research Network in Sport Tourism, he has published 13 books about macroeconomics, sport economics, sport governance and sport tourism, and 90 articles and book chapters.Sorina Cernaianu is an Associate Professor at the University of Craiova, Romania, where she teaches research methodology and statistics in sport and sport management. She is also an Associate Member of the research laboratory Unite de Recherche Pluridisciplinaire Sport, Sante, Societe, France. Her research focuses on sport tourism and sustainable development, and she has published over 40 scientific papers and book chapters.
