Reviews / Votes
An atlas that is much more than just an atlas, this colourful book brings together masses of historical, geographical and environmental information about the planet we live on and organises it in an engaging way for 7-11 year-olds.Each section has some great questions for discussion, activity suggestions and pointers to sources of further information. There's surely at least one lesson - probably more - in every double page spread.
There is also a companion Collins Keystart UK Atlas available. Both books have as their strapline 'Explore the world - past, present and future' and they will really help young people do just that. Global Dimension
