Description
Rheumatology patients suffer chronic medical conditions requiring medication and often, surgical intervention. There has been a recent push in the medical community to integrate nutrition, supplementation, evidence-based, and complementary approaches to conventional medical therapy. Integrative therapies offer treatment alternatives which are safe and effective in managing chronic diseases. This book offers comprehensive information on integrative and regenerative therapies in rheumatology. In addition, it contains information on holistic approaches including mind-body stress approaches, qigong and yoga, wellness team approaches, acupuncture, and homeopathy.
