He is the principal investigator on several research grants and is a frequent contributor to research and popular articles on weight management. Laura E. Matarese, PhD, RD, LDN, FADA, CNSC is currently Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the Brody School of Medicine and the Department of Nutrition Science at East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina.
