TONY KENT worked in industry for many years in various buying positions, including for K Shoes, Boots and Arcadia. In 1993 he joined the London Institute, where he set up their retail degree programme which he continues to run as Principal Lecturer, alongside his consultancy work. OGENYI OMAR is currently senior lecturer at South Bank University Business School, and has previously worked at both Manchester Metropolitan University and the London Institute. He is the author of Retail Marketing (1999, Pearson Education).
