Recent Trends in Nutrition

This study discusses the major public health issues regarding nutrition in developing countries. Various chapters discuss current research at the frontiers of nutrition science, related to the major problems of public health. The contributors examine: problems of adaption to undernutrition; aspects of protein nutrition and protein metabolism; the effect of undernutrition on the body's resistance to infection; and much more. The volume originated from the 1st International Symposium on Recent Trends in Nutrition, organized by the Nutrition Foundation of India.
