Linda Gates is the Head of Voice and Speech at Northwestern University's Department of Theatre, where she teaches voice, speech, dialects, and text. She has worked as a vocal and dialect coach for theater and opera in New York, Chicago, regional theater, the U.K., and Europe, and has worked with the actors and singers Meryl Streep, Plsscido Domingo, John Malkovich, Sigourney Weaver, Rosemary Harris, and Rex Harrison. She lives in Chicago.
