Description
The annual publication is a hardback review of research in tourism, recreation, hospitality-management, hotel and catering and related fields, with an emphasis on fields of rapid advance, international importance and major academic or professional concern. Each volume consists of 6-8 major reviews of a substantive field by a leading figure, and a number of shorter papers dealing with topics of current importance or reviewing "state of the art" development. There are also occassional invited contributions from relevant cognate fields, like economics, food science, communications and geography. Although the focus is on research , contributions are invited to tie their papers to the needs of professionals in the appropriate fields. This is the third volume in the series.
