Description
This annual publication is a hardback review of leading-edge research in tourism, recreation, hospitality management, hotel and catering and related fields, with an emphasis on fields of rapid advance, international importance and major academic or professional concern. Each volume consists of 6-8 major reviews of a substantive field by a leading figure, and a number of shorter papers dealing with topics of current importance or reviewing state-of-the-art developments. There are also occasional invited contributions from related fields, like economics, food science, communications and geography. Although the focus will be on research, contributors to the Progress series will be invited to tie their papers to the needs of professionals in the appropriate fields.
