Animal Production and Rural Tourism in Mediterranean Regions

Animal production is an essential factor for the development of the rural environment as it contributes to the diversification of the rural landscape by promoting rural tourism and population settlement in rural areas. This is a compilation of the papers presented at the International Symposium on Animal Production and Rural Tourism in Mediterranean Regions organized by EAAP, FAO, CIHAEM and SNFEZ-EZN. The aim of this symposium was to stress the importance of animal production in the development of rural areas.
