Tatiana Besset is a CNRS Research Director at Rouen Normandy University, (UMR6064 CARMeN Institute, INSA Rouen Normandy), France. Her research has been recognized by several awards and honors, including the CNRS Bronze Medal, the "SCF" Jean-Pierre Sauvage and Jean-Marie Lehn Prize, the Thieme Chemistry Journals Award, and the RSC Fluorine Prize. Elected as a Chemistry Europe Fellow in 2022, her research focuses on the development of new transition metal-catalyzed transformations, C-H bond functionalization, and innovative strategies in organofluorine chemistry.
