Persons
António Abreu is Associate Professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto, Polytechnic of Porto. He is Post-Doctorate in information technologies and systems, Department of Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra. He holds Ph.D. in Software Engineering based on reusable components with human-machine interface applications, by the University of Vigo, master's in management informatics by the University of Minho, and degree in informatics applied mathematics by the Lusíada University. António Abreu is Integrated Researcher of the Research Centre CEOS.PP-Centre for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto. Between 2015 and 2018 he was Coordinator of the Professional Higher Technical Courses (CTeSP) of the Higher Institute and Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP) and Coordinator for Market Development of the Training Centre and Services Abroad of ISCAP.
João Vidal de Carvalho is Associate Professor at Porto Accounting and Business School/ Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal). He is Post-Doctorate in technologies and information systems at the University of Coimbra. He holds Ph.D. in information systems and technology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, master's in information technology management from the University of Minho, and degree in informatics/applied mathematics from the Portucalense University. He was (between 2020 and 2022) Vice-Director of the Research Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP).
Joao do Monte Duarte received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Bern, Switzerland, and the University of Campinas, Brazil, in 2018. He received his master's degree in computer science from Bridgewater State University, MA, United States, in 2012 and his bachelor's degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, in 2008. He holds a professorship at the Atlantic Technical University (Universidade Técnica do Atlântico - UTA), Cabo Verde, where he also holds relevant management positions. His research interests include technologies applied to diverse areas such as higher education, environment, and health, as well as mobile computing and vehicular networks, and he has participated in several international research and cooperation projects.
Pedro Liberato holds Ph.D. in tourism management and planning, from the University of Vigo (Spain). He is Associate Professor at the Tourism and Leisure Department of the School of Hospitality and Tourism (Polytechnic Institute of Porto), where he teaches several curricular units in Tourism at the undergraduate and master levels. Currently, he coordinates the tourism management master's degree and the tourism and leisure department at the same school (ESHT-P.PORTO). His main research interests are tourism marketing, digital marketing, tourism planning, creative tourism, e-tourism, and smart destinations. He is Author or Co-Author of more than 100 book chapters and articles published in international journals and international conference proceedings, indexed by Scopus and/or Web of Science.
