The Oxford Book of Organ Music by Women Composers presents a comprehensive survey of historical organ pieces by women composers alongside six newly commissioned works. The music is stylistically varied and encompasses secular and sacred repertoire from a range of periods. In addition to original organ repertoire, the collection also contains several organ transcriptions in new arrangements for the instrument.

There is something not only for every taste and playing level, but also for every occasion, sacred or secular. You could almost use this book as a source of preludes, offertories, or postludes for the entire church year. [...] If you are looking for some truly original organ works, look no further. * Rollin Smith, The American Organist, June 2024 * Here are 42 pieces that are all indisputably worthy of publication and performance [...] Large format, clearly printed and sturdily bound, this volume should provide a much-appreciated resource for organists. * Duncan Watkins, RSCM, December 2024 * Overall, the OBOMWC is a rich collection with much to enjoy and inspire, deserving widespread attention and playing. * Matthew Blaiden, Organists' Review, June 2025 * This thought-provoking anthology illuminates a body of repertoire which has been too often overlooked [...] Players at every level will find in this volume music to challenge preconceptions and broaden horizons. * Stephen Farr, Choir and Organ, August 2025 *
