Birth Defects Research is devoted to understanding how and why adverse pregnancy outcomes happen. We work to identify prenatal factors and biological mechanisms that reduce these risks. Birth Defects Research is the official journal of the Society for Birth Defects Research & Prevention.
We take an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to our publication strategy, publishing works across the spectrum of clinical and epidemiological analyses, cellular mechanisms, environmental toxicity, as well as parental nutritional, behavioral and socioeconomic factors that affect reproductive outcomes.
