The Libraries Directory, 49th Edition

The Libraries Directory provides in-depth entries for libraries, archives and related institutions throughout the UK and Ireland. Formerly The Libraries, Museums & Art Galleries Year Book, it has been published by James Clarke since 1897, making it one of the longest established Directories in the UK. The new edition represents a significant increase in coverage from the previous edition, with over 500 new entries. In particular, the sections for UK Archives and UK Library Organisations have both been expanded by over 30%. For the first time, the Directory has been made available as a dual-format package, comprising a printed volume and a CD-ROM. As a marketing tool, the Directory is an essential resource for all those who sell to libraries.
