New York City covers the highlights - museums, neighbourhoods, parks, famous buildings - and those unexpected, distinctly New York institutions - like taxis, delis, even the coffee shop known to millions of Seinfeld fans. There's the Brooklyn Bridge, and the story of P.T. Barnum leading a parade of 21 elephants across its span to prove the structure was safe.
