Elixir: Full Score

Suitable for string orchestra, this work presents two contrasting moods in alternation. It begins with brooding, lyical music that gradually picks up strength and intensity, bursting out into a fast tempo with contrapuntal ideas that have an athletic character. The two types of music both stem from the same musical materials.
