Maths for Work: Higher Assignments Copymasters

The aim of GNVQ Application of Number is to teach and reinforce numeracy skills through practical contexts. The use of case studies and assignments gives students an opportunity to develop competence in the application of these skills within vocational areas. This pack has been written to cover the core skills requirement in Application of Number at levels 2 and 3. There are 15 assignments in 5 vocational areas: Leisure and tourism, Health and social care, Manufacturing, Business, Art and design. For each assignment, there are worked examples with related questions, followed by a number of open-ended assignments. There are full solutions to the questions.
