This is a useful resource for non-specialist teachers. Music Teacher July 98 Each activity is clearly presented with simple instructions, resources needed, a learning focus, and numerous suggestions for link material and development. Key terms are explained in an introduction and there is plenty of advice for those new to organising music-making. The practical and varied ideas ensure that many aspected of each element are covered...these simple and thoughtful ideas will support teachers in helping children to listen attentively and enjoy making music.
