Philip Gooden is a graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford and taught English for many years and is a member of the Medieval Murderers group who have written ten books together. He is the author of the Nick Revill series and of The Durham Deception and The Ely Testament. He has also written a large number of non-fiction books including literature guides for students and popular reference titles about language.
Gemma Barder lives in Market Harborough, Leicester, with her family and a mischievous cocker spaniel. She started life working in children's and pre-teen magazines before moving into the world of publishing. She's now a freelance writer full time and writes activity books, treasuries, novels and storybooks for children, as well as publishing her own magazine. Gemma writes a wide range of children's books for Sweet Cherry, with more projects in the pipeline.Arianna is a freelance illustrator based in Florence, Italy, where she majored in Entertainment Design at Nemo Academy. Since then she has worked as 2D artist with Italian independent video game studios. The Sherlock Holmes series is her debut novel as an illustrator for Children's books.
Archina is a freelance illustrator from Naples, Italy, where she studied illustration at Scuola Italiana di Comix. She loves bringing magical characters and worlds to life with her illustrations. She has worked on some fantastic children's books and hopes to be able to tell stories through her images for the rest of her life!
Nick Moffatt has been a freelance illustrator for the past 20 years, working in film, television, advertising and animation. He has a real passion for storytelling and narratives. Recently his Beat generation book cover designs were highly commended in the World Illustration Awards.
