Xanthe Clay studied at Leith's School of Food and Wine before setting up and running the kitchen in Bath's fashionable Raincheck Bar. Since 1999, she has written a popular column in the Weekend section of The Daily Telegraph, testing and commenting on readers' recipes, as well as on kitchen gadgets. She has published It's Raining Plums and In Season. Xanthe is also a contributor to Olive and Good Food magazines.
