Description
This is the second edition of a popular textbook on statistical methods in clinical trials. It is aimed at graduate students in biostatistics, so is rigorous with respect to the methodology but also includes lots of real examples of applications. The second edition has been updated with an additional editor, new references throughout, lots more examples and new datasets, many more exercises, and SAS and R code throughout. It is widely-used for teaching, and with the addition of the extra exercises and computer code, its use for teaching is likely to expand substantially.
