Person
At the age of nine, Carolyn Bennett made her first kaleidoscope from instructions in a 1917 edition of The Book of Knowledge. In 1973, while teaching high school art, her hobby became a passion, and Carolyn began to make kaleidoscopes again. She began her career in 1978 as a full-time kaleidoscope artist at C. Bennett Scopes and since then has served as a Director of the Brewster Kaleidoscope Society. Carolyn is the author of the original Kids' Book of Kaleidoscopes.
