This 32-bit software with an updated user interface contains: enhanced searching options with significant revisions to both the feature and keyword searches; image-viewing tools allowing comparison of multiple photos; continuing quarterly online updates available for Version 3.0 databases; and Internet links which save time in research and give extra information at the click of a mouse. There are direct links from the databases via the McKusick number to the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM) website and also via the references to Medline. It allows you to browse or search for the syndromes, features and references supplied and enables the searches to be combined or progressively refined, and saved or printed. Syndromes can be searched on clinical features alone or using multiple criteria.
