This 32-bit software with an updated user interface includes: enhanced searching options - significant revisions to both the feature and keyword searches; new image-viewing tools allowing comparison of multiple photos; continuing quarterly online updates available for Version 3.0 databases; and Internet links which save time in research and give extra information at the click of a mouse. There are also direct links from the databases via the McKusick number to the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM) website and also via the references to Medline. The searches can be combined or progressively refined, and saved or printed. Syndromes can be searched on clinical features alone or using multiple criteria.
