Oxidation and Reduction in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry

Oxidation and reduction are fundamental concepts in inorganic and analytical chemistry and in his book published in October 1985, Alan Vincent provided a self-instructional text for students which covered the basics of the field. To illustrate the concepts of oxidation state diagrams referred to in the book, the author has prepared a disk containing two computer programs to allow students to extend their practice in this area. One program allows oxidation state diagrams or tables of data to be presented. The other program constructs an oxidation state diagram from the user's own data. The 5.25 inch disk is currently available for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Microcomputer Model B with a 40 track disc drive.
