In the Fabero coal mine, northern Spain, a 520-tonne Hitachi EX5500 hydraulic excavator feeds 200-tonne capacity Cat 789C trucks and a Komatsu D475A dozer rips through rock. Nearby mines use the Komatsu PC3000 and Hitachi EX3600. In the French Pyrenees, the Luzenac talc mine a 340-tonne Liebherr R994B hydraulic excavator feeds Komatsu HD985 and Cat 777C dump trucks.
