Description
Espanol de primero is a single-volume coursebook for key stage 3 students starting Spanish. There are twelve units designed for clarity and maximum ease of use. Language is introduced in a lively cultural context through a group of young people living in northern Spain. Each unit contains clear learning objectives, inductive grammar sections, study skills focus, and regular pronunciation practice. There is provision for differentiation in Adelante sections, and provision for further practice in a separate workbook. The Teacher's Book contains suggestions on maximizing use of Spanish in class, using ICT, guidance for assessment, and a full tapescript in addition to detailed teaching notes. The Copymaster Book (Hojas Extras) has worksheets for extension activities, grammar practice, vocabulary development, and assessment. The cassettes contain a full range of high quality recordings, including several original songs. The Coursemaster provides a customisable scheme of work and records of progress to meet new curriculum requirements.
