This software has been part of a research study in educational software. The software uses artificial intelligence techniques to provide strategic hints to students as they solve word problems. Word problems are considered one of the hardest areas for remedial mathematics students and this software aims to teach the student a problem solving approach that helps them conquer this difficult part of the curriculum while giving them thinking skills they can use in other disciplines. System requirements: Windows 3.1 or Windows '95.
