Description
Cambridge Mathematics Assessment C CD-ROM is the third in a series of three CD-ROMs designed to assess primary mathematics. Aimed at children in Years 5 and 6, it follows the objectives given in the National Numeracy Strategy Framework for teaching mathematics. The CD-ROM provides a set of test activities in an easy to use and interactive format. Children are able to work independently, as instructions are both written and spoken, by a set of fun and friendly characters, and each question gives a hint on request, for additional support. The CD-ROM allows for test results to be stored electronically. They can also be printed out for reference. Each test allows for children to make their own comments about their performance, and they have access instantly to their results. Each assessment shows which questions were answered correctly on first or second attempt, and whether the hint was used, allowing teachers and children to obtain a fuller understanding of strengths and weaknesses.
