These CD-ROMs give clear, step by step practical instructions on best practice in the laboratory, with extensive use of real examples. The first covers the basic skills required by all analysts, and many others who are making measurements in chemical and similar laboratories. Techniques include: weighing techniques; the use of pipettes and burettes; titration; and handling and treatment of samples. The second covers additional skills such as handling samples, drying and ashing, solvent extraction and rotary evaporation. Links to informative websites are also included.
