The Active Eye

A graphically advanced Hypercard software stack designed as a teaching tool in the area of visual perception, this dynamic database presents more than 50 well-crafted animations, experiments, and tutorials covering a wide range of visual phenomena. Accompanying the software package is a 150-page guidebook that provides detailed essays describing the theoretical importance of each of the presentations. The demonstrations involve motion and space perception, dynamic illustrations, and information processing. Some demonstrations are fully interactive and others allow for student data generation.

* MacPlus or Mac SE with 2.5 megabytes of RAM and 20 megabyte hard disk
