Description
Bemidji, Minnesota, native Brian Miller teams up with Randy Gosa of Wales, Wisconsin, to perform the Irish-influenced music once common in lumber camp bunkhouses throughout the Great Lakes region of the United States and Canada. A follow-up to Miller's album Minnesota Lumberjack Songs, this CD includes songs and dance tunes from North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ontario. Miller and Gosa accompany many of the songs with guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonium, and tenor banjo. Included is a booklet with notes and historical photos.
